This is an error that I was facing while I try open a SharePoint URL on a browser. I know its really stupid to post such a stuff but I believe that most of the users do face this error when they try to open the site just after creating a new Web Application. The reason behind getting this error is that the SharePoint Central Admin does have the Web Application but has no Site Collection to publish; which results in an error given below:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: Microsoft-IIS/7.5 Date: <DATE> GMT Connection: close
To get rid of this error you just have to create a Site Collection and you are done. ;)
